What does hot tub and spa service include?
Hot tub and spa service is weekly care for a body of water that behaves very differently from a pool. Service covers testing and adjusting the water, cleaning the shell and the waterline, rinsing or replacing the filter cartridge, checking the jets and the circulation pump, and inspecting the heater and the cover. A spa attached to a pool and sharing its equipment is handled as part of the same weekly visit rather than billed as a separate job; a standalone hot tub is serviced on the same weekly rhythm.
The reason a spa needs at least as much attention as a pool is volume and temperature. A few hundred gallons at 102 degrees consumes sanitizer far faster than thousands of gallons at ambient temperature, and the same bather load is concentrated into a fraction of the water.
